THE BIGGEST STORY OF THE YEAR TO HIT MY BLOG!
Those who know me, know where i use to work.......that's right USE TO!
FRIDAY 28th APRIL 2007
Not happy at work for sometime now, a friend asked fot the last calamari plate to finish a table, i looked up and spotted the plate, which i'd not been told was there and commented "helps if i was told it was freakin there!" the concerned waitress' then asked if i was okay, my reply "no i'm sick of everyone taking there shit out on me"
I was then questioned by the boss on what was said, i said "nothing" she insisted i tell her to which i replied "It's none of your business!" in a stern voice, as usual the crusty bitch got up on her high horse pointing the finger and saying "this is my fucking business" so i said "well i'm leaving, i'll just get my stuff." she then informed me that gav the head chef would be leaving in four weeks, my response "i don't give a shit!, i'll be back tomorrow for my knives!" i slammed the back door so hard i thought i'd almost broken the window! (oh yeah we were in the middle of service with 60 customers in!)
After a few phone calls and drinks i went out with my family and got smashed!
On Saturday at about 3pm i recieved a call saying "do you realise you are late for work?, you were ment to start at 2pm" "not i'm not" was my reply "so your not coming back?"(if i owned a business and an employee walked out like that i wouldn't want them back!) "nut" then came the rant from the disgrantled cow, you need to return all items belonging to the business back, blah,blah,blah. so off i went and returned there shit and got my knives back and that's it all done and dusted!
Did sticking up for myself feel good? Hell Yeah!
I'm proud to report i have the twinkle back in my eye and a TRUE smile on my face! As long as i stay positive i know i'll be okay.
Concerned waitress not your fault! you have given me the courage and support to stand up for myself and do what i should of done a long time ago!
I'd also like to report that current employee's of this organisation are actively seeking new jobs! HA HA HA
So Mrs. Crusty, treat your staff as you wish to be treated! you can't have respect just by being the boss, you have to earn it like everyone else!

The unprofessional way in which i left, not doing my two weeks but i know in my heart that customers would not of got my best why should they be punished because i was treated like a pig!
